Jon and I have a vastly different childhood, yet, we were children who would mimic the Looney Tunes Roadrunner every time the character zooms past like a rocket bird, Beep Beep!
Our biggest draw to travel on the Rio Metro was to hear the Rail Runner train go “Beep Beep!” at every station!
There were ten stations from Albuquerque to Santa Fe and we beeped all the way. It was silly fun! Yeah!
One and a half hours later, we arrived at Sante Fe and noticed a couple of dragons lurking around. We like New Mexico already.
